“Analog” or Digital. Is there any difference?
The production of high-quality holographic products is a rather complicated and expensive method of production.
Therefore, there are not many manufacturers themselves (8-9 companies all over Russia).
Some manufacturers of holograms record the image on the master matrix using the “analog method”.
This is a classic and, to some extent, outdated image recording technology, which has clear qualitative differences from the modern digital hologram which requires expensive optical equipment.
Our company uses only digital technology, which guarantees the customer the production of quality holographic products.
Unlike analog, in digital holography, there is a possibility of reproducing a given change in the structure of the hologram in order to obtain additional qualitative and quantitative characteristics - such as an image of various degrees of protection against counterfeit (micro texts with a height of 30 microns, micro optical elements, hidden images, etc.).
Equipment and software for recording such images is expensive and complex. Digital technology provides extremely high resolution of hologram elements and special protective elements and allows, in contrast to "analog", to obtain holograms of the expected high quality.
Therefore, before ordering holograms and not be fooled by expectations when receiving products - order samples from the manufacturer and make sure of the quality of the products, compare them with samples from other manufacturers (including "analog" ones) and it will be easier for you to make a choice in favor of one or another manufacturer.
